1. PYRAMID SAIMIRA THEATRE LIMITED
PSTL is India’s largest theatre chain company operating with an unbeatable dominant presence across South India. Digitalization was the first step for the company to gain a bigger growth momentum. Strong financials along with the shares listed at NSE & BSE have provided credibility to the organization. In the exhibition sector its mammoth network includes 800 plus screens with 5,50,000 plus seats across India, Malaysia, Singapore and North America spread over 5 million sq.ft. By 2010, the Group plans to operate 2,000 screens in India alone (with 175 multiplexes and stand alone theatres). Food & Beverage: Pyramid Saimira is creating a niche for itself in the F&B segment with 2 food courts, 1 restaurant and 110 cafeterias inside theatres in operation with the following brands – Apple Tree, Red Curry, Shivalay, Augrita, Asparagus, Thall, Cineteria, Beverage & More and the latest being Brahmin’s Kitchen, an initiative to bring traditional Brahmin food in the modern format. This division of PSTL is well on its growth path in becoming a full-fledged food and restaurant business entity.
2. PYRAMID SAIMIRA PRODUCTION INTERNATIONAL LIMITED
This company is the content production arm of Pyramid Saimira Group with a full-fledged, state-of-the-art production facility. PSPIL comprise of two divisions – Film and TV Content Production. It has adopted a structured methodology to adhere to timelines and mitigate risk with a comprehensive insurance and a completion guarantee mechanism. All this is done with professional management expertise that expands the bandwidth of operations effortlessly. This represents one of the prime facets of the Group. The Company has already produced 13 films and is looking to produce 70 films including 30 in Tamil during 2008-‘09. Saimira Music: Saimira Music has enabled the company to step into the core business of music releases. This adds value and establishes a dominant presence in the music industry as well. So far the company has released nine audios, which includes film and devotional music.
3. PYRAMID SAIMIRA CONTENT DISTRIBUTION PVT LTD.
PSCD is a fully owned subsidiary of PSTL and a content distribution company engaged in film distribution within India.
4. PYRAMID SAIMIRA ENTERTAINMENT LIMITED, SINGAPORE
PSEL is a fully owned subsidiary of PSTL and a content distribution company engaged in international content agglomeration through own group creation and third party acquisition. PSEL rides on the overseas theatrical rights through its own distribution network. Exhibitions include Vazhthukkal, Halla Bol, Sound of Boot in Malayalam and Om Shanti Om in the U.S.
5. PYRAMID SAIMIRA THEATRE CHAIN (MALAYSIA), SDN BHD
A Joint Venture with Asian Integrated Industries Sdn Bhd., that operates 51 screens in Malaysia and has produced one Malay film. This Company principally distributes Film Content in Malay, Chinese, English and Tamil. It is now expanding to advertising, food courts, DVD distribution etc. Shivaji a superstar Rajinikanth’s starrer was released under this banner.
6. PYRAMID SAIMIRA PRODUCTION SERVICES LIMITED
PSPSL is an integrated post-production services arm of Pyramid Saimira Group for film production, TV content production and advertisement production. PSPSL”S sophisticated state-of-the-art digital recording studio Shabthalaya in Hyderabad provides creative services to various industry sectors which include feature films, advertising and promotion, video content etc.
7. PYRAMID SAIMIRA ENTERTAINMENT AMERICA INC., USA.
PSEA commenced operations in the U.S.A. in October 2007 by acquiring FunAsiA, the largest Asian theatre chain in the U.S.A. Operating 23 screens, 3 banquet halls, 1 magazine and 3 radio stations in Houston, Dallas and Chicago. The Company has the potential to become the largest distributor of non- Hollywood content across the USA, UK and Europe.
8. PYRAMID AND LONGZHE CULTURE AND THEATRE LIMITED, CHINA
Pyramid Saimira theatre has now entered the Chinese market. This will enable China Society of Music Research Board and PSTL to promote cultural co-operation between India and China. PSTL will bring cultural specialist in the field of Arts, Films, TV, Music, and Dance. This entry will strengthen the growing exhibition and content business of the group and will in a very short time be the largest exhibitor in the world. A new joint venture company supported and approved by China Society Music Research Board (CSMRB), which is under the Ministry of Culture of the People’s Republic of China, has been formed to operate theatres/distribute films and engage in other entertainment/arts & cultural activities in China.
9. AURONA TECHNOLOGIES LTD - UK
The latest inclusion to the Group’s portfolio, Aurona Technologies, a leading video games and interactive software company headquartered in London is engaged in providing development services to game builders, Hollywood studios, media companies and corporates. The division’s capabilities are in game design, game programming and game art, and delivers games across all platforms - Console, PC, Hand-held, Online, Arcade and Mobile. The Company delivers full game development from India for platforms such as Sony Playstation 2 console, Nintendo DS and PCs. Aurona has built up the know-how and potential IPs in Racing, Lifestyle and First Person Shooter gaming that can be leveraged internationally and in India. This acquisition marks the entry of the Group in the high growth gaming and animation sector with future plans for Pyramid Saimira Fun Zone, which will have far reaching impact in terms of growth.
10. SPIZE TV PTD. LTD., - SINGAPORE
Spize TV is a pan-European direct-to-home (DTH) platform offering Asian and niche content to viewers in Europe. Spize TV is available on the EuroBird-9 (EB9) satellite which allows viewers to benefit from the 500 plus free-to-air channels on the HotBird satellite by a simple dual-LNB upgrade. The technical details of Spize TV platform are EB9@ 9° East, 11,843 V, Txp 56, Symbol 27,500 and ¾ FEC. Spize TV will have a bouquet of - Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, Bangla, Gujarati Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Singhalese and Malay. It will also have Chinese & Spanish shortly. Spize TV is also setting a platform with the complete suite of ARY Network Channels (ARY Digital, ARY One World, QTV and the Musik) and also the two B4U Network Channels (B4U Movies & B4U Music) in North Indian languages. The South Indian language currently has DAN(Tamil) and TV Lanka (Sinhalese) and others are being added in due course.
11. SAIMIRA ACCESS TECHNOLOGIES LTD.
Saimira Access Technologies Ltd.has the business of developing media portal and acquiring video rights of Indian films, DVD and magazines. Being a technology and access company it has been mandated to launch HITS, DTH, OOH Media, Web based services, Wimax, Wilan, IPTV and also launch TV Channels like Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Bhojpuri for the European, Sri Lankan and Malaysian markets initially, and later for the domestic market as well.
12. DIMPLES CINE ADVERTISING PVT LTD.
Dimples Cine Advertising is one of the most steadfast names in the business, having an exceptional rapport with the cine advertising fraternity and understands the need for grass-root level communication. With this acquisition, the Group intends to provide high impact, cost-effective advertising solutions through Hoardings, OOH, on and off screen advertising, TV ads etc.
13. SAIMIRA REALTY PVT LTD.
This group has expansion plans to acquire properties, develop the same for integrated entertainment, hospitality services, multiplexes etc. This company was recently formed and has a major plan to acquire properties across South India.
